Thanks for the feedback : )
I started the site coz I was so overwhelmed by the cuteness….. I couldn’t keep it to myself! Yep, Michelle, I’m from Sydney, on a working holiday here teaching English.

Roxy, thank you for the comment!! πŸ™‚ Glad to meet another cuteness addict! Japan is definitely the cutest country in the world in terms of cuteness density, it’s a tiny country so all the cute things are close together and easy to find! πŸ™‚

Thanks Steph!! I wish we had fun kitkats and cute free toys with candy in aus 2! I’m gonna miss kawaii when I go back home!
Ririi, that’s so cool you are studying Japanese! Me too, but I’m still ‘chotto nihongo! sukoshi!’ Nihongo ganbatte!!
Valerie, thanks for the link, I heart ‘all things kawaii’!!!!

Your site is awesome. I brought home a ton of various candy when I was on a trip ot to Tokyo last month but am almost out of everything. The candy there is definitely better than the stuff here in America. The one candy I wish we could get here that comes from Australia is CherryRipe. Those are so yummy!

Hi Rick, thanks for your comment πŸ™‚ Japanese candy is so fun! And it changes practically ever week so there is always something new. And different parts of Japan have special versions of candy. You can buy it online at places like ebay but it ends up costing about $4 per item! Cherry ripe is sooooooo good. A new Cherry ripe has just come out in Aus, it’s double coated with chocolate!

I cant tell you how much I have enjoyed your website!!! The photos are wonderful, and the effort that you put into great paper/fabric/etc. backgrounds and set ups…I really appreciate your sense of fun and wonder. Thank you a million!

P.S. are you back in oz now…will this be the end of your kawaii flavoured treats?

Hi Cloudtea! Thanks so much for your lovely comment! πŸ˜€
I had so many pretty Japanese papers and cards and cute snacks and toys just sitting around so I decided to put them all together on this blog. Cute, pretty things in Japan are so abundant and cheap! Eg origami papers, fabric, pretty stationery. Yep I’m back in Oz now, but I still have a few kawaii treats from japan on my camera and some of my friends in japan have volunteered to review new treats for me!
