Yay holiday!

I’m counting the sleeps at the moment until my holiday to America! I’m flying away this Friday and hope to be posting some pretty yum yums from Las Vegas, LA, San Diego, Phoenix, Chicago and New York. If anyone has any foodie tips for any of those locations, please let me know! I’m excited about: American cheesecake (above pic from a Japanese magazine called “The Burger Book”, so may be more like Japanese cheesecake than American, despite the stars and stripes?)

The home of 7-eleven (I bought this Hello Kitty gotochi mobile phone charm at 7-eleven in osaka, they had 5 different versions, each with her wearing a different uniform)

Diners! Another pic from “The Burger Book”.

Have a great trip! I’m jealous… Two cute desserting/sweets destinations in NYC:

Rice to Riches is all rice pudding, all the time

Alice’s Tea Cup is supercute high tea and afternoon tea fare – REALLY busy though, so you might have to book ahead

When you get to New York you HAVE to go to the High Line Park in Chelsea. I just visited New York myself and LOVED it! This sounds silly, but have you ever visited before?

I forgot to say before, while you’re in New York you should check out the New Museum in NoLita. It’s the cutest building in the city. I didn’t get a chance to go in when I was there. The museum is closed Mondays and Tuesdays. But it was worth the subway ride over there just to check out the building itself!

I really don’t suggest you go to High Line park. I recently went there and there wasn’t much to see it was mostly grass, small trees, and rocks.
