Strawberried M&Ms

It’s not often you see limited edition American candies in these parts so I was excited to find these Transformers Strawberried Peanut Butter M&Ms in a convenience store in North Sydney. (It’s also not often that ‘strawberry’ is used as a verb…) Anyway, they’re like normal peanut-butter M&Ms but there’s “more than meets the eye” ^_^  They’re ‘strawberried’. The pack contains red, yellow and brown M&Ms, and the yellow ones have red speckles all over the sugar coating.

If you like peanut butter M&Ms (or PB&J sandwiches) you would ❤ these! The strawberry and chocolate combine with the salty peanut butter filling to form a magical flavour combo. Strawberry + peanut butter + chocolate.

They were released in America back in June for the release of Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen. M&Ms also released Pirates of the Caribbean M&Ms (white chocolate) called Pirate Pearls and Star Wars M&Ms (dark chocolate) called Darth M&Ms.

I have seen these around too and wondered about them. I thought it seemed like a REALLY nasty combination but I was still curious. Might have to check these out!

These are my favoritiest of all M&Ms ever! And I was thrilled to discover that the M&M store in NYC had these in the bulk tubes earlier this year. I was one blissed-out, strawberried M&M girl!

these wouldn’t be from that amazing candy store in the shopping centre that’s not greenwood?
i was once in there with a friend and we heard a man guiding his friend through the abundance of reese’s chocolates.
we nick-named him professor chocolate – he sounded like he knew what he was talking about.
    i love ‘strawberried’ as a verb – it’s hilarious!

VJ, haha! LOVE that candy store! However these are just from that convenience store on the way from NS station to Blues Pt Road (next door to the st honore bakery)

Ms K: Good luck tracking it down! Some blog mentioned they saw it in 99 cent stores??

Nicole: It’s from a book of patterns I bought in Japan, called ‘Petit Pattern Book Simple & Natural’. It has hundreds of pretty patterns for you to use, and comes with a CD of the JPGs. I think you can buy it online?

    KP: you would love them!

Kobe: a big packet???? yum! i wonder where she got it from (america?)

A girl called e: haha i know that shop! yep they still have american candy galore 🙂
