Peachy keen

Momo (peach) blossoms signal the start of Spring, but even if you don’t see the flowers, you can’t miss the sudden burst of peach-flavoured drinks on the market, and the introduction of peach-flavoured KitKats. Peaches hold a special meaning in Japan, thanks to the popular folk tale of Momotaro, a boy who was found in a giant peach that was floating down a river. Momotaro (Peach Boy) grew up to defeat evil ogres so now peaches are known for driving away bad spirits.

I grew up on that story in Taiwan – love the imagery! That first shot is beautiful 🙂
