Mood cookies

These cookies are from Alex & Michael, Daimaru department store, Shinsaibashi. They are ‘mood cookies’. They say on the pack: “How are you feeling today – happy, sad or angry?” Just turn the cookie upside down to make a sad/angry face.

Mickey cookies

There is a flashy Love Hotel in Namba called Hotel Mickey Cookies, and I figure that these Mickey-Mouse cookies must be responsible. They are about the size of a 100 yen coin and you can buy 20 of them for 99 yen in conbinis. Thanks Ben for discovering them and for taking this picture.
